Zombie Comic #1 in Marvel Zombies
Torn from the pages of Ultimate Fantastic Four! On an Earth shockingly similar to the Marvel Universe’s, an alien virus has mutated all of the world’s greatest super heroes into flesh-eating monsters. Unlike regular zombies, the Marvel Zombies have managed to retain their personalities.
Zombies with Personalities
The Marvel Zombies have memories. They are strategic and cunning and they are even capable of emotion. Spiderman is still the angst ridden young super power. He is riddled with guilt about what his zombie persona has done. Unfortunately for him, he is unable to forget.
Zombies with Super Powers
The Marvel Zombies with their super powers are on the rampage for human flesh and there is no one on this Earth dimension who is capable of stopping them. It takes a matter of hours for them to destroy life as we know it.
Who’s for Dessert?
The big question becomes, what do they do when they have consumed all the humans? We follow them on their search for more food and marvel at their reaction to the Silver Surfer when he arrives to foretell the forthcoming arrival of Gallactus.

Marvel Zombies Verdict
This first issue of the Marvel Zombies series saw the birth of a comic book series that was set to become a classic. The Marvel Zombies comic books have a dark humour and gore factor that makes them ideal for adults who love the zombie genre. It is not suitable for children.
If you are new to Marvel Zombies, or looking for a gift idea, this first issue will give you the flavour of what is to come in the following Marvel Zombie publications. It is graphically stunning, absorbing, humourous and entertaining. A thoroughly good read at a very reasonable price.
However, if you plan to collect all five issues in the first series, you could consider the individual issues that are available on kindle. However, in preference we would recommend Marvel Zombies Collection 1 which contains series 1, prequel issues and other bonuses and all for a reasonable price.
For die hard fans of zombies, Marvel comics, or the walking dead series, you could alternatively consider Marvel Zombies Zomnibus, which contain all five Marvel Zombie series, prequels, spin-offs and additional interviews and cover artwork.
