The Walking Dead Season 3 Synopsis
In this uncertain world, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors must not only fight the dead, but also face a whole new fear: the living. In this 16 episode season, the series Entertainment Weekly called the “greatest thriller ever produced for television”, Rick and his fellow survivors continue to seek refuge in a desolate and post-apocalyptic world and soon discover that there are greater forces to fear than just the walking dead.
The struggle to survive has never been so perilous. This season also introduces new characters, including the Governor (David Morrissey) and fan-favorite Michonne (Danai Gurira), along with her zombie pets.
Violence Rating
The Walking Dead Season 3 contains moderate to strong violence. There are frequent attacks on zombies with shooting, impaling, being driven over or attacked with other weapons. Their are numerous attacks on humans by zombies. The violence is extremely bloody, gory and at times, graphic.
The Walking Dead Season 3 Verdict:
The Walking Dead Season 1 gave us a disorganised rabble of survivors desperate to escape the Walkers. Season 2 saw our survivors evolve into a more organised group of fighters practiced in the art of combat with enough time left to fight amongst themselves.
In the walking Dead Season 3 our survivors have become experienced warriors, veterans in the art of dispatching Walkers. The zombies are not their worst threat any longer. The Walking Dead Season 3 is a compelling Series of an ever evolving story. Excellent drama.
