When it comes to this time of year it is great to sit down and watch some seasonal films that warm the very corners of our hearts and help ignite the Christmas spirit. If you are looking for a film that can do all that and also has zombies, then Christmas with the Dead is the movie for you!
Looking Forward to Christmas
Calvin and his wife Ella are looking forward to Christmas. Well, actually it is Ella who is really looking forward to Christmas. Calvin is struggling to share her passion and wanders off to have a sneaky nap.
It’s probably the smartest move he could have made, because while he is asleep, a freak storm in space causes everyone in Mud Creek to turn into “snappers” (yeah, that means zombies)
The Perfect Christmas
Whether it is guilt, madness or he suddenly sees the light, Calvin wants to give his now incarcerated zombie wife the best little Christmas ever. Trouble is, that means going outside. For the first time in months Calvin ventures outdoors to track down all the necessary ingredients to make the perfect Christmas for Ella.

Literally Heartwarming
Christmas with the Dead is blessed with an amazing cast and a great story line. It is not a gore-fest zombie flick, nor is it likely to give you nightmares. It does however give you a fairly plausible human reaction to how most of us would respond to an apocalypse. That is, shock and disbelief followed by a desperate attempt to make things seem normal.
Festive Fun but with Zombies
Fans of the zombie genre who are looking for a good human story set around Christmas will love this movie. There are zombies, weapons, guns, more zombies, bad guys, tension and of course, Christmas.
