Who sings Earth Angel?
Originally, Earth Angel was a known hit for The Penguins. In Back to the Future it is performed by Harry Waters Junior (as Marvin Berry). This recording is the movie version.
Who sings Johnny B Goode?
Johnny B Goode was written and recorded by Chuck Berry. In the movie, Mark Campbell sings the song which is lip-synched by Michael J Fox. This recording is the movie version.

A confused Marty dressed for 1985 stumbles into the 1955 version of Hill Valley town centre. The background music is Mr Sandman, sung by The Four Aces.

The version of Davy Crockett heard playing during Back to the Future when Marty lands in 1955, is a recording of the theme tune recorded by Fess Parker and taken from the Disney Davy Crockett movie. In 1955 this was huge!
