Shaun of the Dead Costume

Shaun of the Dead Costume.
The outfit worn by Shaun Riley throughout his walking moments during Shaun of the Dead, consists of a white, short sleeved, uniform shirt, black trousers, red striped tie and Foree Electric name badge. A number of props could be added to bring an air of authenticity to the costume. We have suggested a prop cricket bat and prop rifle here. Other great alternatives could be a pool cue or bouquet of flowers.
Shaun of the Dead Badge.
Shaun of the Dead Badge
The most difficult part of Shaun’s ensemble to replicate is the name badge, but never fear, our Zombie Pit team have tracked down a high quality Prop replica that is going to complete your Shaun of the Dead Costume with a truly authentic touch.
If you are planning to attend a Halloween party, costume event, or cosplay gathering, this badge will be perfect to complete your authentic Shaun of the Dead ensemble. It also makes an excellent collector’s item to frame, hang on the wall, or just to show off to fellow Shaun of the Dead fans.
The badges available through Amazon are manufactured in the USA with professionally designed artwork and made from the highest quality materials. A safety catch on the reverse enables a secure hold onto your clothes or costume. These cards are durable and abrasion resistant, so chances are these name badges stand a better chance of surviving the zombie apocalypse than you do!
The badges available through Ebay are skillfully made, attach easily to your shirt and come with the added option of personalisation. These badges are available for worldwide shipping.
Tip: Check out the badge for “Mary”, the shop assistant whom Shaun and Ed find in zombiefied state in the back garden. If you are looking for a couples’ costume, why not put together a “Shaun and Mary outfit”?

There are of course different ways to wear the shirt depending on what stage of Shaun’s mishaps you are intending to portray.
Shaun at work looks smart in clean shirt and red tie, his badge fixed on straight and clip board in hand.
Skip forward an hour and Shaun has a discernable red ink stain on the corner of his shirt pocket.
Shaun battling zombies with cricket bat in hand has a spatter of blood stains down the front of his shirt. His tie is skewed and his hair and manner are ruffled.
Battle torn Shaun in the Winchester pub wears his tie around his head to subdue the blood pouring out of the dart wound inflicted by Lucy.
To achieve all but the tidy version of Shaun, we suggest you get your hands on some fake blood and see where the mood takes you.

Apart from when he is wearing his pjs, we see Shaun Riley in his Foree Electric Store uniform throughout much of the movie. He wears his tie in the traditional way right up until the point where Lucy accidently pierces his head with a stray dart. She does eventually manage to hit her target, confirming that darts are not the best way to dispatch a zombie.
Meanwhile blood is squirting from Shaun’s head. It is at this point that Shaun converts his tie to a bandana. As well as stemming the blood flow from his newly acquired head wound, it also upgrades his uniform to battle dress. If you wish to add another dimension to your Shaun of the Dead Costume, why not wear your tie as Shaun did, around your head and add a touch of blood here and there?
This pure silk red tie is an excellent choice to match with your Shaun of the Dead Costume. It is a quality, handmade tie measuring 59 inches by 1.97 inches. When you are not being Shaun of the Dead, you will find this tie an excellent addition to your general wardrobe. Whether you are formal Shaun at Foree Electric, or zombie hunter Shaun with your tie around your head, this is an excellent choice.

Wood effect cricket bat
When Shaun burst through the shed doors to find a suitable weapon to defend himself, little did he know he would settle on what is probably one of the most ideal choices for defence during a zombie apocalypse, a cricket bat! Though designed for sport rather than zombie elimination, a cricket bat makes an excellent defence weapon as it is light to carry, easy to wield, effetive in eliminating attackers and never runs out of amunition!
This wood effect cricket bat is made from foam which makes it the ideal choice for cosplay events, Halloween parties or for attending comic conventions. The bat measures 24 inches in length and has a comfortable grip handle in contrasting colour. The wood grain effect on the paddle gives a realistic look that makes this the ideal bat for Shaun of the Dead cosplay.

Winchester Traditional Rifle
During the Siege of the Winchester, Shaun’s head is injured by a rogue dart thrown by Diane. At this point Shaun wraps his tie around his head as a bandage, taking on a distinctly rambo look. This would be a great alternative costume look for Shaun, which you could match with a pool queue or Winchester rifle if you have one handy!
With this realistic toy Winchester Traditional Rifle you can jack that lever action and fire some imaginary lead at those zombies! Battery operated, this model Winchester toy makes light and realistic rifle sound effects when the trigger is pulled. Drawing the bolt backwards makes a realistic sound and the gun barrel lights up. Also included are some molded shells and molded plastic binoculars. The rifle measures 30 inches in length and makes a great realistic looking Winchester prop for role playing Shaun of the Dead.
