Zombies Ate My Neighbors Description
The mad scientist Dr. Tongue has created a wide variety of monsters within the bowels of his castle and has unleashed them on nearby suburban areas, terrorizing its inhabitants. Two teenage friends, Zeke and Julie, having witnessed the attack of said monsters, arm themselves with a great deal of unconventional weaponry and items to combat them and save their neighbors from certain death. Ultimately, they will come face to face with Dr. Tongue himself and defeat him to put an end to his plans.
Simple yet Challenging
The premise of this game is very simple but at the same time challenging and great fun. For one or two players, your characters: Zeke and Julie have to rescue the neighbours from a whole bunch of zombies, werewolves and all sorts of monsters you will easily recognise from films.
55 levels
There are 55 levels, all very colourful and diverse. For example, you have to use trampolines to jump over fences, find keys that unlock sheds and then visit the mall, where there are lots of shops on multiple floors. The neighbours that need rescuing include babies, cheerleaders and even dogs! Often it is easy to find the neighbours, you just have to rescue them quickly to progress to the next level. Other times you have to find a key and unlock a door before you can reach them.
There is a version of this for both SNES and Sega Genesis.
Zombies At My Neighbors Verdict:
Zombies At My Neighbors dates back to a time where consoles and games were simpler, but enormous fun nevertheless.
It is a great action packed game with endless zombies, vampires, werewolves killer dogs etc and endless wierd weapons with which to whack them in order to save your neighbours.
No matter how sophisticated consoles and games become, there will always be room for a classic such as Zombies At My Neighbors.
Excellent game which just gets better every time you play it. Highly recommended!
