Zombie Vikings is a humerous cooperative game for one to 4 players. The main story is written by Zach Weinersmith, the creator of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal webcomic. It was released in autumn 2015 by Rising Star Games. Think Norse mythology with zombies punctuated with some wacky characters, a constant vein of humour, some amazing cartoon antics and a whole bunch of epic battles.

The problems all started when that pesky Loki turns up in Asgard to steal the Norse god Odin’s eye. In this unique version of a Viking world, Odin unearths four undead vikings warriors to go get and retrieve his eye before Loki can unleash his dastardly plan.

Putrid Posse

Enter Gunborg, Seagurd, Hedgy and Caw-kaa, a most putrid posse who must battle their way through the Norse lands, facing whichever monsters, creatures and odd-ball entities that come their way. The best part is, you get to come along for the ride!

On a mission from Odin

Our four Viking warriors have their own personal styles and skills to battle their way through this wacky viking world on their mission from Odin. As well as posessing different skill sets, each of the characters has an individuality that makes play more interesting.

Fusion and Fortune

For example, Seagurd is a fusion of Viking meets octopus. He uses his tentacles for spin attacks and battling enemies. As well as being able to unlock over 40 weapons, our characters can also acquire Viking Runes at various stages of the game which can be traded in for valuable resources such as upgrades.

Uber Zombie

Characters can also work together to achieve their aims. Form an uber zombie by fusing characters together, throw a viking into a mob of adversaries to unleash a power attack on the enemy. This adds an exciting dimension to the game, highlighting the benefits of co-operative play and adding a thrilling dimension to an already action packed game.

Marvellous Messy Mayhem

Hack through the gingerbread swamps of Molgaga! Cruise through the intestines of the Midgaard Serpent! Fight giant poultry! Things will definitely get messy, but witha whole lot of fun.

Zombie Vikings Verdict

Zombie Vikings is a funny, fast paced adventure brawler set in a wacky version of the Norse realm. The artwork is incredible, the story is engaging and the sub plots most entertaining. The four main characters are diverse and have their own personalities and skill sets.

Co-operative Option
