Summary
Mark and Tom are college roommates. When they go out for a night on the town, their evening didn’t quite go as planned. If the machete wielding stranger wasn’t bad enough, they meet a rampaging horde of zombies. Along with Raven, an amateur photographer and video store clerk, they find themselves involved in an epic battle with the undead.

Zombie Apocalypse is an action/adventure/horror movie that is mindful of the blockbusters ofthe 1980s. Think John Carpenter and you are]on the right track. Packed with exciting action and intense drama. this is a zombie movie that does not take itself too seriously.
The Characters
Zombie Apocalypse focuses on four main characters and their abilities to survive during an zombie outbreak.
Miller is searching for his long-lost wife who herself has ties to the creation of the zombies.
Mark is a bullheaded college student. He’s relying on the chip on his shoulder and the axe in his hand as his survival strategy.
Tom is Mark’s roommate. He divides his time between his medical degree and playing video games. Good skills to have in a zombie apocalypse.
Raven, as her name suggests, has a dark side. Amateur photography is not enough to alleviate the fustration she feels as a video store clerk. When the zombie apocalypse breaks out, it really does lift her spirits.
Throughout the movie they meet a host of other characters including a mob of survivors who call themselves The Marauders, shadowy agents, an Illuminati-style organization, and nemesis from the past.
Zombie Apocalypse Verdict
Zombie Apocalypse is a good movie for the true zombie fan who wants to work their way through every zombie movie. It is naive but that is part of the charm. There is blood and gore as you would expect in a zombie movie but don’t expect breathtaking special effects. What it does have is an honest story about a bunch of people who suddenly find themselves immersed in a zombie apocalypse and their fight to survive.
When the real zombie apocalypse strikes, this is probably what it will look like.
