Warm Bodies unveils the tale of a post apocalyptic romance between ‘R’ a zombie and Julie, a human.
Given that most zombies have flesh that is in various stages of decay and their personal hygiene regime ended as they drew their last breath, the idea of a zombie being attractive even to another zombie let alone a living breathing girl has never really seemed plausible.

Enter “R” played by Nicholas Hoult in the movie version of the book, Warm Bodies. Think James Dean meets The Walking Dead.

You might ask what an undead cannibal who doesn’t even remember his own name, just that it starts with “R”, could possibly offer a girl. Well, “R” may be taciturn, self-absorbed and more often than not, out with the lads hunting for tasty humans to eat, but on the plus side he yearns to make something more of his life, is conflicted about the whole killing and eating thing, and he does have his own plane.

Post zombie apocalypse, that makes him quite a catch!

The fact that Julie, played by Teresa Palmer, is attracted to “R” is not as strange as it may first seem. ‘R’ does have the whole “rescuing the damsel in distress” scenario working in his favour, not to mention that “R” and Julie are a parody of Romeo and Juliet, which was always going to be a clincher.

But when you’ve just been rescued from zombies, your last boyfriend has been eaten and your new suitor looks like Nicholas Hoult, a trip in first class, reassurance that you won’t be eaten and background strains of “Patience” by Guns n Roses are definitely going to help see him in a new light; although it had best be a dim one.

The most striking aspect of the clothes R wears, is that iconic red hoodie. We have a great burgundy hoodie that closely resembles that worn by Nicholas Hoult in the movie, minus of course the obligatory blood, guts and staining, that you can enjoy adding yourself! This beautiful burgundy hoodie is manufactured with 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It is machine washable and has a zipped fastenining to the front with adjustable drawstrings on the hood and split kangaroo pockets.

Underneath R’s red hoodie we can see a beige t-shirt, though yet again this appears distressed and is stained with various liquids, the source of which one can only imagine.
