As this is the Officially licensed Rick and Morty Portal Gun and the first replica to be released, this is always going to be a firm favourite with collectors and Rick and Morty fans. As cosplay replicas go it is an ideal choice when putting together a Rick Sanchez Costume. There are some subtle differences between this and later versions; The light up chamber on the top which depicts energy is a sticker and this replica does not provide any sound effects.

This Rick and Morty Portal Gun from Funko is an excellent replica for collectors, Rick and Morty fans, and for putting together a Rick Sanchez Costume. There are a few differences between this and the Official Portal Gun described above. The green chamber on the top of the gun contains a sculpture to represent energy which lights up when the button is depressed. The Funko version also has sound effects which accompany the generation of the “portal” when the control button is activated. The handle on the Funko version is a slightly different shape but this does not impede use. The green dome on the top of the gun has a cool internal scupture to represent energy and when the button is activated, a portal appears and a series of sounds let you know that an interdimensional adventure is imminent!
