Description
Players can choose to be on the side of the zombies or the plants. Each side has four main character types.
Plants have sunflower, chomper, pea-shooter, cactus. Zombies have engineer, all-star (football zombie), scientist and foot soldier.
As the user completes the challenges that are set, new upgrades and new characters become available.
The game has a Welcome Mat designed for beginners to get the feel of the game before progressing to more challenging scenarios.
PLEASE NOTE: This game requires online connection. You must have a PlayStation plus or Origin account to play this game. It will not play offline.
Violence Rating
The game does contain cartoon violence. The zombies emit green blood and the characters use a variety of weapons against each other that resemble bombs, drones, guns and grenades. Sound effects of groaning can be heard.

There has been a lot packed into these games, it is well done and very entertaining.
For the seasoned mature player, the cartoon imagery is an amusing alternative to the usual blood and gore zombie shootem-ups but the challenges are still there.
Throw in multi-player and it will keep you amused for hours.
This can be a great game for families. With the moderate cartoon violence it is safe for younger players to join in, but demanding enough for everyone to feel challenged and entertained.
Please be aware that this game will not play unless you are connected to the internet. It also requires a PlayStation Plus account.
